Zofran 4 mg Tablets contain ondansetron, a highly effective antiemetic used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy (highly or moderately emetogenic), radiotherapy, and post-operative situations. It works by blocking serotonin (5-HT3) receptors in the brain and gut, stopping the vomiting reflex. Rapid onset (within 30–60 minutes) and 24-hour coverage with twice-daily dosing in most cases. Well tolerated with minimal sedation.
