Zomig 2.5 mg Tablets contain zolmitriptan, a second-generation triptan that rapidly relieves migraine headache pain by constricting dilated cranial blood vessels and inhibiting trigeminal nerve activity. Indicated for the acute treatment of moderate to severe migraine attacks in adults. Onset of relief typically within 30–60 minutes, with significant pain reduction in 1–2 hours. The 2.5 mg dose is the standard starting dose, offering good efficacy with lower side-effect risk than higher doses.
