Product Description
Zyloric 100 mg Tablets contain allopurinol, the gold-standard long-term treatment for chronic gout, tophaceous gout, and hyperuricemia of any cause (including tumour lysis syndrome and certain kidney stones). By blocking xanthine oxidase, it lowers serum uric acid levels, prevents acute gout attacks, dissolves existing tophi, and stops formation of uric acid kidney stones. The 100 mg strength allows easy dose titration (usual maintenance 200–300 mg/day, up to 800–900 mg in severe cases).
