Zyloric 300 mg Tablets contain allopurinol, a potent xanthine oxidase inhibitor that reduces uric acid production by blocking the conversion of hypoxanthine to xanthine and xanthine to uric acid. Indicated for primary and secondary hyperuricaemia, chronic gout with tophi or joint damage, uric acid nephropathy, recurrent uric acid stones, and tumour lysis syndrome prophylaxis.
